Thanks to all our vendor partners for helping our "community connection" school for the year start strong. This year, partner companies including KSI Kitchen and Bath, Ferguson Plumbing Showroom, A and C Design, Lumbermens, Bekins, Standale Home Studio, Louisville Tile, Virginia Tile, Mont Surfaces, Lakeside Surfaces and Delight in Design helped collect teacher classroom supplies and host the back to school carnival.  NKBA West MI collected items ranging from books to whiteboard markers, bean bag chairs, and art supplies to help equip teachers for this 23-24 school year.  In continued partnership, we helped revive their back-to-school carnival event.  The school had not hosted a back-to-school community event due to funds, staffing, logistics, and COVID-19 since 2019.  Our partners at Bekins brought down some grills, and with food provided by Lumbermens and NKBA West MI, we helped start the school year right.  We were happy to see the teachers, students, families, and community come out for this event.  We also partnered with several local businesses, churches, and additional community resource partners for the event.  KSI kitchens, Mont Surfaces, and Standale Home Studio provided carnival games and prizes while the design team from Delight in Design painted faces!
