January 5th marks the opening date for the second annual NKBA West Michigan Student Design competition. Thanks to the generous sponsorships from partner companies, including Fisher and Paykel, Delat Brizo, and Cambria, students have the opportunity to win up to $1000 for their design solutions. This year, students are asked to design a "long-term stay" kitchenette and living space in an empty loft. Ideal for boomerang college students or visiting in-laws, this space should feature a fully functional kitchen and a communal lounge that invites family connection.
Winners will be announced in April at the KBIS review event.
