Our chapter had a great meeting on September 22nd with Doug Walter.  Attendees noted that it was the most direct and simplified approach to lighting a kitchen that they had ever been exposed to.  It is an approach that all the designers felt comfortable using with their kitchen designs.

Doug Walter, CMKBD, a licensed Colorado architect with over 42 years experice, and one of NKBA's Subject Matter Experts on lighting. He had presented at KBIS the past 5 years, co-authored the Lighting Badge, and was part of a task force charged with rewriting the Design Guidelines for Kitchens & Baths, due out next year.
