Our first Build Your Future collaboration was a success!  We took part in the Poway Unified School District's CTE College and Career Fair on September 25, 2025, hosting a table to promote careers in the skilled trades.  With hundreds of attendees, we were able to talk to high school students and their families about the need for increasing the skilled trade workforce and gave them valuable information to begin thinking about opportunities they may not have known about, in addition to giving scholarship information to help them get started.  NKBA San Diego Chapter president, Tracy Parsons, along with Chapter members, Mary Jennings, CMKBD and Lance Hawkins of Remodel Works Bath & Kitchen were present at the event to answer questions.

We look forward to future events where we have the opportunity to educate and promote careers in the skilled trades!
