Savvy Giving by Design Denver is a nonprofit and part of a national network of professional designers and creatives whose mission is to provide comfort, support, and healing to families with a child facing a medical crisis by transforming the interior spaces of their homes at no cost to them. HOW IT WORKS THEY SELECT A DESERVING FAMILY Referrals are nominated by community members and are vetted by a board of directors. They meet with them to find learn about their child's interests, passions, favorite colors, and physical needs. PLAN WITH THE TEAM The designers work together to create a vision for each room. They select paint, wallpaper, flooring, furniture, bedding, window coverings, and decorative accents. They collaborate with contractors and reach out to vendors to bring our vision to life. COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT The chosen family's story is shared with our community of #SAVVYDENEVERGIVERS. Through sponsorships and donations, we are able to create magic for our child recipients. THE BIG REVEAL The moment we've all been waiting for! Professional photographers and videographers capture the experience so it can be shared with friends, loved ones, and the community that made it all possible. This year the Rocky Mountain Chapter NKBA will be raising funds to support this amazing cause! if you would like to contribute to this effort, we will be collecting goods and services to auction off at our annual holiday casino night in November.
