This course provides an in-depth exploration of porcelain as a material—from its natural composition and sustainable manufacturing process to its outstanding performance characteristics. Participants will gain an understanding of the benefits of porcelain surfaces, including their extreme heat resistance, UV stability, low porosity, and exceptional durability. The course also covers design flexibility, fabrication and installation best practices, and proper care and maintenance to ensure long-term performance.

About our Speaker:
Theresa Schoustal has been in the Design industry for over 25 years. Working in all aspects of design consulting, product development, and education across North America. Engaging with global manufacturers, in a multitude of materials, textiles to ceramics, natural and manmade stones, with much emphasis in porcelain stone. A graduate of Sheridan College and Western University, her career had the privilege to work across Canada and the United States, on local, national and global projects.
Now representing Caesarstone Canada, enables a platform to discuss the continuously evolving topic of multi-surfaces, a review and education of the latest developments of Quartz and Porcelain, helping to understand the design capacities, the natural minerals that make up man-made materials, along with the environmental commitments.
The ultimate goal, to empower designers with the ability to select with confidence, finding design solutions and fulfilling their creative aspirations. Regardless of Project size or type.
