The Science of Color and light is a course on understanding how light and lighting affects the way we see and perceive color, the course has the following learning objectives:
-Summarize the role of light and the process that occurs between the brain and the eye for humans to see and perceive color
-Examine the characteristics of different light sources, specifically color temperature, and color rendering index and the impact on color
-Explain light reflectance value (LRV) and the different types of light distribution
Identify problems that occur as a result of product substitution and color matching.
