Join us Wednesday, March 18, from 3:00–5:00 PM for an intimate, hands-on mosaic experience inside the Mercury Mosaics Design Studio—where craft, sustainability, and thoughtful design come together.

Hosted by Mercedes Austin, founder of Mercury Mosaics and Mosaic Candy Shop, this founder-led
gathering invites you to slow down and create with intention. Together, we’ll transform reclaimed tile
fragments into a one-of-a-kind decorative tray, thoughtfully paired with specialty hardware by Brizo and a custom wood base crafted by Woodchuck USA.

At the heart of Mosaic Candy Shop is the belief that beauty lives in what’s been overlooked. This
experience celebrates the art of repurposing—honoring material, process, and the stories embedded in
each piece. You’ll be guided through the making process while being encouraged to trust your instincts,
explore composition, and enjoy the tactile joy of working with your hands.
With a limited number of guests, this gathering is designed to feel relaxed, personal, and unrushed. We’ll
begin with a welcome mingle at 3:00 PM, followed by the tray-making experience starting promptly
at 3:30 PM. Please plan to arrive on time so you can fully settle in and be part of the complete
experience.

Set within the inspiring studio environment of Mercury Mosaics, The Art of Making is an opportunity to reconnect with creativity, craft, and community. You’ll leave with a beautifully made tray—and, we hope, a renewed appreciation for intentional design and the power of making together.
