Long Island, NY — The NKBA Metro New York Chapter brought heart, hospitality, and hope to the design community last night as they hosted a spectacular, sold-out fundraiser in support of the beloved nonprofit organization Paws of War. Held at the stunning Sub-Zero, Wolf, and Cove showroom, the evening was nothing short of magical, combining culinary delights, community spirit, and compassion for a worthy cause.
The event drew an incredible crowd of designers, industry professionals, and animal lovers, all rallying together to support Paws of War—a remarkable organization that trains and places service dogs with U.S. military veterans and first responders dealing with trauma. In addition to their long-standing mission, Paws of War recently stepped up to help in a heartbreaking local tragedy, assisting in the aftermath of the Happy Cat Sanctuary fire, providing vital aid and animal rescue services in a time of urgent need.
Attendees were treated to an unforgettable evening filled with gourmet bites, expertly crafted using Sub-Zero and Wolf appliances, generous raffle prizes, and inspiring stories that touched every heart in the room. Thanks to the overwhelming generosity and participation, the event raised over $4,000, with 100% of proceeds going directly to support Paws of War’s ongoing efforts.
“This event was absolutely incredible and filled my heart with joy,” said Jared Barry, Communications Chair for NKBA Metro NY. “Being able to support such an important cause while representing NKBA was truly an honor.”
News 12 Long Island even picked up the story the morning of the event, giving it a powerful boost of local visibility and excitement. Their coverage helped spotlight not only the evening’s incredible cause, but the spirit of service and community that drives the NKBA Metro NY Chapter.
As the night came to a close, hearts were full, spirits were high, and the message was clear: when design meets dedication, incredible things can happen.
