2/17/26 - KBIS – Orlando, FL

Join the NKBA Metro NY Chapter as we head to Kitchen & Bath Industry Show (KBIS) 2026 in Orlando, the industry’s biggest stage for innovation, inspiration, and connection. This annual gathering brings our members together to explore the latest products, trends, and technologies shaping kitchens and baths, while strengthening relationships with peers, partners, and brands from around the world. From showroom floors to after-hours networking, KBIS is where ideas turn into action, and where NKBA Metro NY shows up together to lead, learn, and elevate our industry.

2/25/26 - Meet. Mingle. Member Up. – Cosentino, Hicksville NY

Join the NKBA Metro NY Chapter for a fast-paced, speed-style networking night where members meet members, make introductions, and build real connections—quickly and effortlessly.

You’ll rotate through short, casual conversations with designers, builders, and industry partners, making it easy to put faces to names and spark new collaborations.

3/09/26 - Cabinetry 101: Build It Yourself – Cuiffo Cabinetry, Bayport NY (Special Student Event) 

Ever wondered what really goes into building a kitchen cabinet? This hands-on workshop is designed to break it all down—from materials and construction methods to hardware and assembly.

Students will learn the fundamentals of how cabinetry is made, including cabinet components, box construction, joinery, finishes, and how quality and design choices impact performance and longevity. Then, it’s time to roll up your sleeves.

Participants will take part in a guided, hands-on cabinet assembly, gaining real-world experience putting together a cabinet from start to finish. This interactive session connects classroom concepts to practical skills and offers a behind-the-scenes look at the craftsmanship behind every kitchen.

Perfect for students interested in design, construction, woodworking, or the kitchen & bath industry, this workshop delivers practical knowledge, hands-on experience, and a deeper appreciation for how great kitchens come together.

3/18/26 - Place Your Bets: NKBA Casino Night at UMI Stone, Farmingdale NY

Get ready for a night of high energy, great connections, and a friendly little competition as the NKBA Metro NY Chapter brings Casino Night to UMI Stone. Join fellow designers, builders, architects, and industry partners for an evening of classic casino-style games, drinks, and networking—all set within one of the industry’s premier stone showrooms.

This social-forward event is all about bringing the community together, strengthening relationships, and having some fun along the way. No experience required—just bring your best poker face and get ready to play, connect, and celebrate the NKBA Metro NY community.

4/09/26 – Turn Up the Heat: 2^nd Annual Chili Cook-Off – Appliance World, Huntington NY

Back by popular demand, the 2nd Annual Chili Cook-Off is heating things up at Appliance World! Join industry friends for an evening of bold flavors, friendly competition, and great connections as teams battle it out for chili bragging rights. Taste, vote, mingle, and enjoy the fun—this social-forward night is all about community, creativity, and a little healthy rivalry. Bring your appetite and your vote… it’s going to be a hot one!

5/14/26 - Paws of War Charity Event, Sub-Zero, Roslyn NY

Join the NKBA Metro NY Chapter for a meaningful evening in support of Paws of War, an incredible organization dedicated to helping U.S. military veterans, first responders, and service members through the training and placement of service dogs.

Hosted at Sub-Zero, Wolf, and Cove Showroom, this special charity event brings our design and building community together for a great cause. Enjoy an evening of connection, conversation, and giving back, all while supporting life-changing programs that provide independence, healing, and hope to those who have served our country.

6/25/26 - Cuban Night – The Cuban, Garden City NY

Turn up the rhythm and bring your dancing shoes for Cuban Night, hosted by the NKBA Metro NY Chapter at The Cuban.

This vibrant evening blends live Latin music, DJ beats, and the electric energy of the dance floor with great food, handcrafted cocktails, and even better company. 07/2026 - Hamptons Designer Showhouse – Multi Chapter Event

Join us for a special multi-chapter summer event at the iconic Hamptons Designer Showhouse, bringing together the design community from NKBA Metro NY Chapter, NKBA NYC Chapter, Interior Design Society NYC, and Interior Design Society Long Island.

Set against a backdrop of inspired interiors and summer elegance, this collaborative evening offers the perfect opportunity to tour the showhouse, connect with fellow designers and industry partners, and celebrate the power of community across chapters. 09/10/26 - This Ain’t Our First Rodeo, Cosentino, Hicksville NY

Saddle up for This Ain’t Our First Rodeo, a hoedown-style fall celebration hosted by the NKBA Metro NY Chapter at Cosentino Design Center.

This lively, Western-inspired evening brings members together for great food, drinks, music, and plenty of opportunities to mix, mingle, and connect. It’s a relaxed, high-energy social event that celebrates our strong NKBA community—no speeches, no pressure, just good vibes and great company.

10/08/26 - Surface Matters: Tile in Design, Brooklyn Tile, Franklin Square NY

Surface Matters: Tile in Design brings the NKBA Metro NY Chapter together for an inspiring look at how tile shapes today’s kitchen and bath design. Hosted by Brooklyn Tile, this event explores the role of surface selection in aesthetics, performance, and overall design intent.

From material choices and textures to applications and trends, attendees will gain valuable insight into using tile thoughtfully and creatively in modern spaces. Join fellow designers and industry professionals for education, inspiration, and meaningful connection—because when it comes to great design, surfaces truly matter.

11/05/26 - Education (CEU), Cambria, Bethpage, NY

The Art of Specifying Quartz: Where Practical Meets Inspired

This CEU will seek to educate specifiers on the fundamental principles of quartz specification, from the manufacturing process, through performance attributes, and ending with successful installation methodology. You’ll understand that not all quartz is created equal, be well-versed in industry practices, be inspired by unique

installations, and be armed with meaningful data to transform your next project with a material that blends Innovation and brainpower for longstanding results

11/19/26 – Friends-Giving, Location TBD

As we wind down the year and head into the holiday season, join NKBA Metro NY and IDS Long Island for a special Friends-Giving celebration. This festive gathering is all about slowing down, reconnecting, and enjoying the company of friends and colleagues who make our design community so strong.
