Welcome fall! The change of seasons, colored leaves in the parks, fashions changing in the shop windows are all things I enjoy. Colder weather and comforting soups are favorites of mine, too, and although I adore my time outdoors, I feel good when fall brings me back to creativity in the kitchen. Making my own pesto using small appliances and fresh garden basil,  creating new recipes and new pairings for holiday entertaining, and refreshing my smart house situation are all on my mind. I am grateful to our partner BSH and Thermador in particular for bringing the connected home back into view at our September virtual chapter meeting. I am excited to see what Chef Brigitte Fouche at Dacor brings us on October 21 with whisky pairings! What a great warming thought as the cold weather rolls in,,, the kitchen is truly where it’s at!
