There are two events on our immediate horizon that remind us that it’s time for reset, and a fresh start. The first is autumnal equinox, which arrived on September 22nd – the evening of our recent chapter meeting at SMEG. The second is Rosh Hashanah, the “Head of the Year” in the Jewish Lunar Calendar, commencing September 25th. As one who appreciates the power of energy and intent, I always welcome this time of year with an open heart.

It's good to look back, and remember that in the spring of 2020, people were saying that this city was “dead.” Nothing could be further from the truth! And like that image of Rocky racing up those steps from the movie, we, too, are resilient, and fully capable of starting fresh.

A case in point is our upcoming EDUCATION Day on October 20th. The NKBA Manhattan team has been laboring away to bring you a truly spectacular day. Mark your calendars, register right away when you see the invitation in your inbox, and join us as we celebrate the resilience of OUR community and our industry as a whole. October is Kitchen and Bath month, but all are welcome—free of charge. Give us a chance to show you why, if you are not already a member, now is the time to become one! We welcome you with an open heart.

And if that’s not enough, I also invite you to read my recap of our recent NKBA Women to Women Mentoring conference (above) in this newsletter. I invite you to come up and ask me why NKBA Manhattan is the place for you!
