Here in the dog days of summer, looking back on the fun of our recent New York Design Industry Coalition Summer Social, gives one the opportunity to reflect on the value of community. Between NKBA Manhattan and our other sister organizations, 140 of our members came out to party and reconnect after a three-year break in this much anticipated summer event.

Other items on the calendar for our chapter are slated to begin again after our usual August break in events and activities. That said, this last month of the summer always speeds by so quickly. And there is so much going on behind the scenes to make the autumn events come together. 

It’s still a great time to consider what opportunities for collaboration and education that membership can bring to you. Keeping up with what’s going on is as easy as following us on Facebook and Instagram, making sure that you are getting this newsletter, or both! We have so many committees that would allow you to participate with the chapter in a more involved way. Please consider reaching out to me to look into ways to be more active with us. It’s always fun to be an insider!
