I’ve said it before, but our New York design community is a family, one that I value so highly. So it was with great pleasure that I saw the overwhelming turn out of attendees at this week’s chapter meeting and CEU hosted by Subzero in their beautiful A&D Building showroom. Subzero’s Chef Phil is not only an amazing chef – OMG the signature cocktail and light bites!- but an enthusiastic advocate of sustainability in the kitchen. Our Earth Day centered CEU on just that topic was presented by Trade Rep, Bianca Olsson. She talked about how the evolution of kitchen design has moved toward better and more effective kitchens but also embraced Biophilia and Wellness, as well. Then Chef Phil gave us all a recap of the storage and cooking solutions offered by Subzero and Wolf. Everyone wanted the evening to go on and on! As always, these are not-to-be-missed events and I know that we give back to our “family” members much more than we ask.
I urge you to check out membership with NKBA here and our new Membership Chair, Jeannine Price, will gladly help guide you through the process if you have any questions at: jeannineprice@gmail.com
Looking forward to chatting at our next event May 19th!
