As we reach the midpoint of 2026, I've found myself reflecting on just how much our Manhattan NKBA Chapter has accomplished together in a relatively short time. Every event we've hosted, every educational program we've offered, every new member we've welcomed, and every partnership we've strengthened is a direct result of people who care deeply about our profession and our community.

Serving as Chapter President has been one of the most rewarding experiences of my career. It has also been one of the most challenging. Like so many of our members, our board members and volunteers balance demanding careers, clients, businesses, and families while choosing to give even more of themselves to our industry. That commitment deserves recognition.

I'd like to extend my sincere appreciation to every member of our leadership team—both those who have served and the new faces who have stepped forward this year. Fresh perspectives, new energy, and a shared passion for excellence ensure that our chapter continues to evolve while remaining true to the values that make NKBA such an incredible organization.

I'd also like to recognize our sponsors and industry partners. Your continued investment allows us to provide meaningful education, networking opportunities, and experiences that strengthen not only our chapter but our profession as a whole. Thank you for believing in what we're building together.

One thing I've learned during these first six months is that organizations like NKBA don't thrive because of a single leader. They thrive because individuals choose to become involved. They volunteer. They mentor. They share their knowledge. They encourage others. They make our industry stronger than they found it.

If you've ever considered taking that next step in your career by serving on a committee, volunteering at an event, mentoring a new member, or pursuing a leadership role, I encourage you to do it. Yes, it requires time. Yes, it requires commitment. But it is also one of the most personally fulfilling and professionally rewarding investments you can make.

Looking ahead, we have an exciting second half of the year planned, including educational programs, networking opportunities, industry collaborations, and events designed to bring our design community together. We're committed to delivering experiences that help our members grow professionally while strengthening the relationships that make our chapter so special.

Although the first six months of my presidency have presented challenges I never anticipated, they've also confirmed something important: I'm exactly where I'm meant to be. I believe deeply in this chapter, in its members, and in the future of our industry. It is a privilege to serve alongside such talented professionals, and I couldn't be more optimistic about what we'll accomplish together in the months—and years—ahead.

Thank you for your continued support, your enthusiasm, and your willingness to invest in one another. Together, we're not simply growing an organization—we're helping shape the future of the kitchen and bath industry.
