MAY CHAPTER MEETING WAS A NEW YORK CULINARY EXPERIENCE AT THE DACOR SHOWROOM
On a beautiful Thursday, May 19th spring evening, 50 registered chapter members experienced an international culinary tour of Manhattan cuisine in four courses. Reminiscent of James Beard tasting dinners, our illustrious hostess Bridgette Fouche, showroom manager with Chef Jean-Bernard Villareal accompanied by mixologist Matthew Morrison's created a spectacular NYC culinary experience at the Dacor showroom in the AD Building on 58th street.
Extraordinary dishes, prepared by Chef Villareal; Shepard’s pie empanadas, Osso buco with tagliatelle, Korean–Biminbap, and Chinese mango pudding were all paired with a specialty cocktail invented by celebrity mixologist Morrison. And two of those dishes were VEGAN friendly as was reported by a member. What an incredible night of networking and delectable and distinctive cuisines that can be found on our island of Manhattan.
A wonderful kick-off to the upcoming summer season. What better way to tour the NYC Dacor showroom, one of the leading American luxury home appliance brands. We give Ms. Fouche and her team a hearty thank you for a delightful evening.
