PRESIDENT Julie Schuster is the principal of her own New York–based design firm using wellness-focused interior design to create spaces that are not only beautiful, but safe, accessible, and functional. Her extensive training includes being a "Certified Living In Place Professional" (CLIPP) and Red Ribbon Professional with the International Feng Shui Guild and with Interior Design Society (IDS) as well as being a long time member of NKBA, including being immediate past Programs Chair for the Manhattan chapter.

COMMUNICATIONS CHAIR Matteo Calisesi was born in Bologna, Italy, where he grew up and graduated in architecture and building science/technology after spending a year in Lisbon and a year in Toronto. He joined Florim in January 2019 starting in business development and afterwards moving towards the technical applications of large format slabs in the interior and exterior built environment. In 2021 he was selected for the NKBA Thirty Under 30 Program. 

PROGRAMS CHAIR Charle-John Cafiero founded CJC Strategists specializing in integrating (SEO) optimized traditional marketing, communications & branding. Charle’s career spans over 35 years in consumer and luxury advertising/marketing with a specialization in the Shelter, Technology, Media & Imaging industries. He has been instrumental in building, transforming & publicizing leading and innovative brands including GretagMacbeth GmbH–color measurement Manufacturer, X-Rite/Pantone Industries, DataColor/Colorvision, Harry Winston Jewelers, D’Alessio Inspired Architecture, and Gurri Design + Remodeling, to name a few.
