August 2020 -- The June 23 Manhattan Chapter Meeting drew a large crowd online who zoomed together to hear design historian and materials specialist Grace Jeffers speak "The Truth About Fake Materials—Or How Fake Can Save the World!" Members and design friends were educated and enlightened as to their preconceptions about fake, faux, and natural, and got a better understanding of what to specify while being eco conscious.
