The NKBA Manhattan Board Hosts a "Chill Thank You" Dinner at Sub-Zero, Wolf, and Cove

By Diana Mosher — In August, we took a pause from our regularly scheduled chapter meetings for a special event celebrating the people who help keep the Chapter up and running smoothly. Members of the NKBA Manhattan Board, along with Council members, Committee members, and Sponsors, were invited to a private dinner hosted at Sub-Zero, Wolf, and Cove in their Manhattan showroom at the A&D Building.

The agenda was about having fun, catching up with industry friends, and enjoying a great cocktail. Chef Phil Raspanti again outdid himself with a delicious menu featuring Chilled Watermelon Feta Salad, Summer Coleslaw, Chilled Thai Basil Shrimp Salad, Grilled Latin Spiced Cauliflower Steaks, Old Bay Crusted Sweet Potato Wedges, Grilled Coffee Crusted Striploin, Heirloom Tomato & Grilled Corn Salad. And the pièce de résistance? The Lemon Profiteroles and the Ricotta Cheesecake.

This annual tradition allows us to thank the many fantastic sponsors and volunteers who help make our NKBA Manhattan program possible. It’s also a fabulous farewell to summer as we prepare to roll out a new line-up of fall programs we have diligently planned.

Save the date for two special collaborations with NKBA National: On September 28, we’ll be at Monogram CoCREATE in Stamford, Conn., for a Design Trends Summit and chapter meeting. Then, on October 26, join us for the big 60th Anniversary celebration of the NKBA. We are planning a full day of activities, including the second annual 2023 Education Day at the A&D Building with the industry’s top leaders. Ending the day: a Dacor and NKBA–hosted cocktail party. November and December are no exception to the great lineup. Be sure that you follow our newsletter to keep up all the surprises we have for our members —sign up here!

If you’ve been thinking about volunteering, now is also the time to jump right in! Besides having fun, volunteers expand their professional networks. You'll also expand your knowledge of cutting-edge products as you spend time in Sponsor showrooms attending board meetings, committee meetings, and planning programs. Email Jeannine Price for more information on how you can become a volunteer!

If you are not already a member, join our Chapter to attend our informative, fun networking events held every month; visit our Newsletter to keep up on events.
