A Hands-On Guide to Instagram's Most Powerful Tool

The interactive workshop is designed to get your creative juices flowing as social media experts from Novità Communications share how to use Instagram Reels to maximize engagement and amplify your firm’s social impact. The session will hone in on why short form video is the platform’s hottest and most relevant tool. Following the overview, you will have the opportunity to roll up your sleeves and create reels and be your own gourmet content creator.

Learning Objectives:

  • Identify why Instagram are Reels so important to your company's social initiatives
  • Gain insight into how to create a reel (what kind of content do you need)
  • Learn how to add text and graphics as well as music and sound effects
  • Discover how to edit and condense content to short-form video
  • Learn how to create polls and/or Q&As for use across Reels and general stories

Presenters:

Tracy Martin, Social Media Manager, Novità Communications

A native New Yorker and graduate of Hunter College, Tracy Martin is a born storyteller, naturally gravitating towards other social butterflies to create the most engaging content while pulling in new followers and listeners. She brings a unique background in television production and social media, knowing how to craft stories and build long lasting relationships with target audiences and new clients. Tracy has been the Social Media & Content Manager for Novità Communications since the winter of 2021.

Katie Fosdick, Account Executive, Novità Communications

Katie joined Novità Communications in 2021 as a Junior Account Executive after a successful internship at the agency. A graduate of Texas A&M University with a BA in Communication, Katie brings an intellectual curiosity and knack for strategic thinking to the team. She believes words are a critical currency and places value in a thoughtful approach to just about everything. She thrives in areas that involve content creation, written works, and strategy development and currently serves as an Account Executive.
