8:30 AM - Breakfast - pastries and coffee, tea and water.

9:00 AM - Jason Blais of Richelieu- Art of Storage: The art of storage organizing is found in the third
“f” in form, fit and function. It is hard enough designing the space for form and fit, but adding
function takes your design from beautiful to “I want that”. This course will take you through
current remodeling trends, changes in consumer design personalization, and how to
imaginatively add accessories, such as storage organizing and profits to your designs.”

10:00 AM - Break (coffee)

10:15 AM - LX Hausys - our Master Sponsor will present

10:30 AM - Duane Becker of SaPre presents Selling with Empathy: Creating an emotional
connection with your client. As many as 30% of Kitchen and Bath prospects decide not to
proceed with a project, why? The primary reason given for this is that they have been too
overwhelmed by the many choices and decisions. To gain and retain your client, you must
understand their perspective and what they might be thinking and experiencing. I will talk about
how being empathetic to your client's wants and needs will gain their trust and help you sell
more. This session will help you to: 1. Understand your buyer's mind. 2. Design your proper
approach. 3. Address your client's concerns. This will be a lecture-based format but designed to
be conversational with questions/discussions encouraged throughout.
