NKBA CFC Meeting Review: A Glimpse into the Future of Design

Hi Members,

This month's NKBA CFC meeting was a truly insightful and inspiring event that offered a valuable look into the future of our industry. 

A highlight of the evening was the opportunity to learn about the Interior Design program at our local Pinellas Technical College. It was fantastic to discover the wealth of talent being nurtured right here in the Tampa Bay Area. Gaining a deeper understanding of the curriculum was truly eye-opening and reinforced the importance of strong educational foundations within our field. It's encouraging to see such robust programs shaping the next generation of design professionals.

Adding to the dynamic atmosphere was our special guest speaker, Kristin Tabor, a 2024 NKBA 30 Under 30 award winner. Kristin's presentation was engaging and offered a fresh perspective on the current trends and the exciting trajectory of interior design. Hearing firsthand from a rising star in the industry about her experiences and insights was incredibly valuable and inspiring. Her passion and vision for the future were truly contagious.

This meeting successfully delivered on its promise to provide a unique opportunity for our chapter. We were able to:

• Gain valuable knowledge about the exceptional design education happening at Pinellas Technical College.
• Connect with and learn from the incredibly talented Kristin Tabor, a true rising star in the industry.
• Acquire valuable insights into current design trends and the future landscape of interior design.
• Network with fellow members and strengthen our professional connections within the Tampa Bay design community.
