Canada-based ICO Bath aims to broaden and grow its dealer and showroom network in the U.S. by leveraging its extensive portfolio of brands that includes bathroom towel warmers, vanities, sinks and bath accessories.

The company, with headquarters in Saskatchewan, has a range of brands from mid-priced to high-end. “We’re obsessed with customer service and making life easy for our customers,” said Ralph Cockburn, general manager, “so we offer free next-day shipping, maintain full stock in-house on our products with no minimum-order values, guarantee our merchandise and offer hassle-free returns including no restock fees.”

ICO’s high-end Tuzio towel warmers are available in contemporary and traditional designs with a wide range of finishes from which to choose, while the Kontour brand offers towel warmers in a more accessible price range. These warmers offer both dry-wire and fluid-filled heating technology, and include programmable or Wi-Fi controller options. Customers also have the flexibility to choose between electric hardwired, electric plug-in or hydronic installation options.

The Volkano line includes an assortment of decorative hardware and accessories, including robe hooks, bath tissue holders, non-heated towel bars and hooks, grab bars, mirrors and more, in a broad range of designs and finishes. Calma features European-style vanities and vessel sinks in a wide array of shapes, from squares and rectangles to ovals and amorphous styles, all in-stock with next-day, no-charge shipping.

ICO Bath was founded in 2004 when its founder, Ian Cockburn, was vacationing in North America from his native home in the U.K. and noticed the lack of European-style bath products and towel warmers in the U.S. and Canada, despite the long, cold winters. He decided to emigrate to Canada with his family, and started the ICO business by supplying towel warmers. This evolved with the development of two proprietary towel-warmer brands, and eventually expanded to include the other brands of bathroom accessories, vanities and sinks.

The family-owned company now has aspirations to broaden distribution to every state in the U.S., offering display options and a comprehensive training program for dealers and showroom personnel, designed to maximize sales potential.

“We focus on designs and finishes, and look ahead to see what trends are developing in the faucet industry so we can ensure we are constantly offering relevant products,” Ralph Cockburn added. “Our mission is to enrich lives through comfort, luxury and design — and that’s what our products do. They add that extra bit of design and luxury to our customers’ everyday routines.”
