How do you deal with difficult or indecisive clients? What are the latest design trends in wellness, smart tech and sustainability? How should you strategize for a recession, or plan for succession? Why is color critical for aging-in-place? What’s the deal with the Metaverse, and how does it impact kitchen and bath?
If you’ve pondered these and other questions — and want to learn smart solutions to these challenges from leading industry experts — VFTI is the place for you.
The Voices From The Industry Conference (VFTI) is coming back to Las Vegas with KBIS 2023, at the newly renovated Las Vegas Convention Center (LVCC). It remains one of the most popular and most valuable activations at KBIS and provides dozens of CEU-qualified educational opportunities to grow professionally and enhance K&B design, business, management and client-relations skill sets.
VFTI, sponsored by Floor & Decor and Angi, presents a full slate of professional enrichment opportunities, and this year, many sessions will be available to view on-demand after the show. The sessions include 13 hands-on workshops, each an hour-and-a-half; six two-hour professional development sessions; five one-hour conference sessions; more than 40 one-hour hybrid sessions (live and recorded for on-demand viewing), and 11 recorded sessions (on-demand only). The recorded sessions will be available starting on Feb. 3.
The courses are themed in six tracks:
- Building/Remodeling
- Customer Service
- Design
- Grow Your Business
- K&B Specialty Training
- Management
The VFTI pass grants access to all sessions, whether in-person or on-demand after the show. Purchasing a VFTI pass also includes admission to all Design & Construction Week (DCW) shows. This naturally includes KBIS and the International Builders Show — but this year, three additional shows have joined the DCW schedule, all running concurrently. The National Hardware Show takes place in the South Hall of the LVCC; the Surfaces show will take place at the Mandalay Bay Convention Center, and the Las Vegas Market happens at the World Market Center. The KBIS expo pass gets visitors into all the shows, plus access to shuttles to and from all the venues, making this mega-event the most comprehensive three days dedicated to all aspects of home design, building and remodeling.
Early-bird pricing is in effect until Dec. 9: NKBA members pay $550 for access to the DCW shows and all VFTI sessions, on-site and on-demand. Non-members pay $750. From Dec. 10 through Jan. 28, members pay $600 and non-members are $825, and from Jan. 29 through Feb. 2, members are $700 and non-members are $925. Additional rates and discounts apply for press, students, faculty and non-exhibiting manufacturers and suppliers, so visit KBIS.com for more details.
