NKBA’s free July webinar series, sponsored by Blum, will focus on universal design. Each month, NKBA offers free 60-minute webinars worth 0.1 CEU per event. This is an easy way for designers to collect the CEUs needed to maintain NKBA certification. The current cycle closes Thursday, June 30. 

Participants must engage in 80 percent of the live sessions to receive CEU credit; registration closes two hours prior to start times. All webinars begin at 12 noon, Eastern Time. Here is the full list:

 

“Design for All Equates to Wellness for All – A Fresh Perspective Towards Universal Design”

Designing for all is at the core of universal design. Paula Kennedy, CMKBD, CLIPP, CACC, Owner of Timeless Kitchen Design, LLC, will dive into the topic on Thursday, July 7. “Designing for a Changing Household – The Role of the Bathroom in our Everyday Lives”

Designing for every life stage is an important consideration in bathroom design. Dean Camastro, Northeast Regional Sales Manager for Duravit North America, will present how the American bathroom has changed over the last decade on Wednesday, July 13. Explore the best ways to shift the Aging in Place conversation to stories of functionality on Wednesday, July 20.
