Meet the latest NKBA Specialty Badge holders.

Congratulations to the following NKBA members on earning their badges!

John Fuller added the Universal Design badge to his credentials. He is the Managing Member and Lead Residential Building Designer for Discount Home Designers LLC in Beverly Hills, Fla.

“NKBA Specialty Badges show my clients that I have been recognized by the NKBA as being specialized in those certain areas, giving them the confidence they need to retain me for their project,” said Fuller.

Fuller grew up in the trades and has the hands-on knowledge and experience required to create economical conceptual designs for custom home builds, home remodels, kitchens and bathrooms. Learn more about Fuller here.

Danielle Schroeder earned the Color and Sales & Marketing badges. She is part of the Sales and Marketing team at Chief Architect Software in Coeur d’Alene. Anneke Huisman added the Cabinetry badge to her credentials. She works for Standale Home Studio in Grand Rapids, Mich. as a kitchen and bath designer with a focus on residential remodels and new construction.

“It was important for me to pursue earning a badge to showcase to my customers my dedication to continued learning and excellence in my field,” said Huisman.

She serves as a board member in the local NKBA chapter because she loves being connected to local designers in the area. Learn more about Huisman here.

Caitlin Adkins earned the Sales & Marketing badge. She is a Kitchen and Bath Designer for Lowe’s in Milford, Ohio. She’s been designing since 2017 and specializes in remodeling and universal design.

“Being an NKBA Badge holder allows me to stand out in the crowd to future clients,” Adkins said. “I am also able to stay up to date with the ever-changing design trends, polish my design knowledge, and learn new tricks.”

Adkins enjoys working closely with her clients and contractors to coordinate every aspect of the job. She takes pride in her work and views each job as a work of art.

NKBA Specialty Badges are a great way to communicate focused knowledge in a particular area of the kitchen and bath field. They are available to all members of the NKBA across all segments. Find out more about the NKBA Specialty Badge Program here.
