The NKBA thanks its chapter volunteers for their dedication. By Loren Kessell
April is National Volunteer Month, and the NKBA extends its thanks to its chapter officers and committee members. Without their hard work and dedication the association would not be what it is today. There are 71 chapters in the network with the newest addition of Southwest Florida Chapter, and 355 chapter positions.
“Volunteering played such a significant part of my career,” said Suzie Williford, NKBA EVP & CSO. “It allowed me to make new connections and to help build my businesses, enhance my knowledge and to be part of a community where I made lifelong friends. Now that I’m a member of the NKBA staff I have a new appreciation for the importance of our volunteers. I thank each of you for putting in the time and effort for our association.”
Chapters host events that offer CEUs, networking opportunities and the tools to grow in a career.
“We’re excited to share that over half of the chapter volunteers are new in 2022,” said Julie Figiel, NKBA’s Chapter Relations Manager. “We can’t thank our officers enough for their passion and commitment to provide quality and creative programming for our members.”
