Best of KBIS is the most prestigious event that honors innovative new kitchen and bath products. This year’s awards segment on Wednesday, February 9, at 4 p.m. ET,  is sponsored by Luxe Interiors + Design. Below are this year’s judges:

 

ElizaBeth Marcocci, CMKBD

ElizaBeth Marcocci, CMKBD, CAPS, is a designer for Mother Hubbard’s Custom Cabinetry in Mechanicsburg, Pa. and has been in the industry for over 35 years. She previously served as the Chapter Representative, Chapter President and VP of Membership for the NKBA’s Susquehanna Valley Chapter.

“I am beyond thrilled to be chosen as a judge for Best of KBIS,” Marcocci said. “I am so excited to see all the new product innovations and dream of ways they can enhance the Kitchen & Bath industry.”

Emily Cathcart, CMKBD

Emily Cathcart, CMKBD, NCIDQ, Owner of Cathcart Designs, is a kitchen and bath designer in Bend, Ore. She is drawn to biophilic design and loves incorporating it into her designs, and draws inspiration from traveling, the outdoors and best new advances in products.

“Being selected as a Best of KBIS 2022 Judge allows me to give back to an industry that’s given so much to myself and others,” Cathcart said. “Whether someone is new in the business or a mainstay, we all find a home with the NKBA and KBIS.”

Lisa Zebra

Lisa Zebra, Owner of Zebra Interiors, is a designer based in Wesley Chapel, Fla. She specializes in custom designs and currently services the Tampa Bay area. She believes that every person deserves a beautiful and functional space.

“As a newbie to KBIS I feel so humbled and excited to have been selected to judge The Best of KBIS awards and to be part of a show and association that has helped set the industry standards, trends, and introduced new products to the kitchen and bath folks for over 50 years,” Zebra said.

Melissa Sharp

Melissa Sharp of Houston-based Kitchen & Bath Design concepts works in residential design and previously held several officers positions in NKBA’s Texas Gulf Chapter. She has specialized in designer case goods and custom home furnishings ranging from client’s city homes and offices to lake and mountain homes.

“I am very excited and honored to be chosen as one of the Best of KBIS judges,” Sharp said. “I am really looking forward to attending in person this year, and I love being the first to see new products, finishes and designs. I feel it gives me a competitive edge in my work.”
