Four shades that will inspire you in 2022. By Loren Kessell
With 2021 coming to a close, it’s time to look at upcoming color trends for 2022. Major companies have been releasing their color of the year picks, and nature-inspired soft greens are dominating the market. Green is often associated with feelings of growth, renewal and abundance. We rounded up four calming hues from top companies:
Evergreen Fog by Sherwin-Williams
Evergreen Fog is a “chameleon color gray-green” hue that is versatile, calming and soothing. It features a hint of blue, and it’s perfect for giving spaces an organic feel. A mid-tone that makes a statement, it pairs well with earthy browns, neutrals and Sherwin-Williams’ Urbane Bronze shade.

October Mist 1495 by Benjamin Moore
Benjamin Moore describes October Mist 1495 as a “gently shaded sage” with notes of silver. This color draws inspiration from the stem of a flower.

Breezeway by Behr
Behr’s Breezeway is a sea glass green meant to express peace and tranquility. It pairs well with shades of white, gray and natural wood tones.

Olive Sprig by PPG
Described as a “lush, neutral mid-tone green” Olive Sprig by PPG has organic undertones and pairs well with soft rose tones and neutrals. It emulates the soothing feeling of aloe vera.
