Imagine the delectable aroma of ribs, pulled pork, turkey or brisket with flavorful spices wafting through the air. Now imagine it coming from the superbly appointed outdoor kitchen you’ve designed for a client, and the compliments and recommendations that will come your way.
Blaze, makers of premium outdoor grills, is introducing a built-in electric smoker this fall that will star in any luxurious outdoor kitchen design.
The Blaze electric smoker is constructed from 304-grade stainless steel and backed by a best-in-class, lifetime warranty. The water-resistant design withstands harsh weather conditions and is a beautiful addition that elevates any outdoor space. This smoker is easy to use and versatile enough to slow-cook virtually anything from ribs to cheese on its three temperature settings. It features ample cabinet space and five slots to arrange cooking racks for optimal performance and results.
The smoker comes with two adjustable wire grates/racks to accommodate a variety of dishes, and a single mesh rack prevents seafood, veggies and other small food items from falling through while smoking. Additional racks may be purchased separately.
The unit can be built into any outdoor design. The smoker body is one inch thick and double-walled to remain cool to the touch while in use. Temperatures may be set for a “cold smoke” at 112°F to medium at 185°F and a high of 235°F, affording a wide variety of smoking applications. A Thermocouple is placed right above the fire source to gauge temperatures accurately, and the construction is completely sealed to lock in heat for consistent cooking.
A six-foot rubber hose exhausts out the back of the unit to keep the outdoor kitchen and relaxing area smoke-free, while an insulated fire mat shields the BBQ island from the smoker’s heat.
Speaking of heat, the smoker is powered by a 1,500-watt electric heating element that burns wood chips to impart a delicious, smokey flavor to any foods within. Dry wood chips can last 2 hours, while wet wood chips can go as long as 24 hours — perfect for the low-and-slow methods that are the pride of pit masters the world over.
Blaze produces a full line of appliances and accessories purpose-built for the outdoor kitchen. These include a sink and beverage center, vent hoods, gas grill heads, griddles, single and double side burners, built-in and portable models, smoker boxes, charcoal-fired grill head and 20-inch aluminum kamodo grill, outdoor chillers and refrigerators, and a wide variety of outdoor cabinets with doors, drawers and pullout features.
