Entries for the prestigious annual contest close midnight, July 9.
Today is the last day to enter the NKBA professional Design. Designers and remodelers will compete for more than $60,000 in total prizes, and each project may win up to $12,500.
The competition is open to NKBA members and non-members alike. Members pay $129 per project while non-members pay $199 each. There is no limit on the number of entries that may be submitted.
Designers will compete for prizes in large (over 250 square feet) and small (under 250 square feet) kitchens in Contemporary and Traditional categories; large (over 55 square feet) and small (under 55 square feet) bathrooms in Contemporary and Traditional categories; and specialty categories of Outdoor Kitchen spaces and submissions by a Builder/Remodeler.
Winners will be revealed next February at KBIS 2022 in Orlando, Fla. First-place winners in the kitchen and bath categories earn $2,500; second place wins $1,500 and third place earns $1,000. Specialty categories take home $2,000 each. Winners of Best Overall Kitchen and Best Overall Bath each take home an additional grand prize of $10,000, totaling $12,500 for the top projects. Besides cash, all winners will receive one (1) personalized award and a valuable KBIS 2022 package.
Grand prize winners will also be featured in KBB magazine, industry publications/media ads and other editorial and promotional materials.
