NKBA’s exclusive virtual event NKBA Summit: Luxury Defined, is just a week away, and registration is open now.

This two-day conference, sponsored by Cambria on June 23 and 24, will explore definitions of luxury and how it translates to the modern kitchen. Luxury designers and insightful market experts will join for a series of discussions and panels.

They will focus on how the concept of luxury has evolved and, more specifically, how the pandemic has altered the high-end mindset.

NKBA EVP and CSO Suzie Williford will host the summit, which will also present exclusive findings from its latest research study on the luxury kitchen. Three of the designers who participated in the study and will be featured at the summit include Sarah Robertson, AKBD, Studio Dearborn, Mamaroneck, N.Y.; Peter Salerno, CMKBD, Peter Salerno Inc., Wyckoff, N.J., and Vicky Serany, Southern Studio Interior Design, Cary, N.C.

Sarah Robertson, AKBD

Sarah pursued her design passion after a corporate career, and built her studio based on tailored, elegant spaces and intense attention to detail. She won consecutive Best Overall Kitchen honors from NKBA in 2019 and 2020.

Peter Salerno, CMKBD

A lifelong student of architecture and design, Peter worked in his family’s K&B business before starting his own in 1997, and has been recognized with more than 30 national design awards.

Vicky Serany

Using fresh combinations of texture, pattern and color, Vicky creates “livable luxury” for clients, specializing in vacation homes along the East Coast. She was named 2020 Designer of the Year by Southern Living magazine.

Designers and market experts will delve into the delicate relationship with the luxury client, reveal the essentials of today’s premier designs and share secrets to success in this rarefied world.
