Entries for the current Student Design Competition must be received by June 1, 2021.
In this year’s competition, “Multicultural Makeover,” student designers create kitchen and bath spaces for a fictional family of three living in Upstate New York, blending their Irish-American and Indian backgrounds and accommodating the needs of an active four-year-old and visiting grandparents. Students are required to incorporate the couple’s design styles, an accessible bathroom, elements of sustainability and indoor/outdoor spaces. The Student Design Competition is generously sponsored by Fisher & Paykel. The entry packet has the family’s profile and requirements, official rules and other information.
