- SIEMATIC’S TRIPLE WIN: German kitchen giant SieMatic has netted three global design awards for its new handle-free SLX Pure Kitchen concept. The collection won the Iconic Award 2020: Innovative Interior “Best of Best,” the iF Design Award 2020, and the Red Dot Design Award 2020. Organized by the German Design Council, the Iconic Awards competition addresses is aimed at all companies in the furnishings industry and their partners in interior design. The awards aim to “discover and award the best from all areas of interior design,” according to the GDC. SLX Pure fuses kitchen and living room with function and aesthetics, where both kitchen and product design intermingle in minimalist, clear style.
- LIFE’S GOOD WHEN YOU’RE A STAR: LG Electronics has been named 2020 Energy Star®Partner of the Year by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA). The Sustained Excellence award recognizes LG’s continued leadership in protecting the environment through expanding its production and sales of high-performing, energy-efficient products, educating consumers, and philanthropic endeavors.
