NKBA members register for free Sept. 4 -30!

It will be here before you know it — the industry’s leading showcase for product, exchanging ideas and career development — the Kitchen & Bath Industry Show (KBIS) — is slated for Feb. 19-21, 2019, and we’re headed back to Las Vegas.

Each year, the National Kitchen & Bath Association (NKBA) strives to present an unparalleled show experience, with the latest in design, products and home technologies; informative industry insights, and learning opportunities for professionals to advance their businesses and career trajectory.

Our co-location with the National Association of Home Builders’ International Builders Show makes this the premiere event in North America in which to see what’s hot and what’s next across the entire design, building and remodeling sectors. It’s a great place to network and make valuable business connections. KBIS alone will feature more than 500 exhibitors in an even bigger exhibition space.

You won’t want to miss the interesting and informative presentations, State of the Association/State of the Industry and keynote addresses we have in store — Fox News/Fox Business anchor Melissa Francis will again be moderating our SOI panel.

A journey of discovery awaits kitchen and bath pros throughout the three-day expo. See the newest smart-home technologies, the most advanced appliances, fixtures, cabinetry, surfaces, lighting, storage, design software and new ideas to take the most important spaces in the home into the future. The Voices from the Industry Conference presents 80 classes, all qualifying for CEU credits, taught by experts on topics like design, kitchen and bath specialty training, growing one’s business, marketing and more, while some KBIS exhibitors conduct training sessions in their booths on the show floor. For the first time, VFTI will present a special session specifically for students.

Two amazing NKBA-hosted parties — the Design Competition and Industry Awards at the Opening Night Party, and The Bash — are all part of the fun.

Best of all: the show is free to attend — if you’re an NKBA member and register between Sept. 4 and 30!

This is just one of many ways the Association serves its members. Besides registering early for a complimentary KBIS Show Pass, members should take advantage of a free early-bird entry into the professional design competition, a free profile page on NKBA.org to promote their business and specialties, the opportunity to obtain NKBA’s highly regarded certifications in kitchen and bath design: Associated Kitchen & Bath Designer (AKBD); Certified Kitchen & Bath Designer (CKBD), and Certified Master Kitchen & Bath Designer (CMKBD). Members stay connected through our insightful blog and newsletter, Innovation + Inspiration magazine, and are automatically included in one of our 70 local chapters across North America at no additional charge or membership fee.

For non-members, early-bird pricing ($50 for a three-day expo pass) is in effect for the month of September. Discounts on VFTI conference passes and show hotels are available, too — check out www.kbis.comto take advantage of a limited number of reduced-rate hotel rooms and other specials. But why miss out on value pricing?  If you’re not already a member, or your membership has lapsed, now is the time to join or renew — the nominal feel pays for itself in complimentary opportunities throughout the year, not to mention valuable promotion of your business.
