Sam Rose, Principal of SR19 Consulting and Former VP
Of Ferguson Enterprises, Named Advisor to
NKBA Global Connect Program
Bethlehem, PA (DATE, 2024) — The National Kitchen & Bath Association (NKBA), representing nearly 50,000 North American kitchen and bath industry professionals and the owners of the Kitchen & Bath Industry Show (KBIS), announces that Sam Rose, principal of SR19 Consulting LLC, has been selected as a business advisor in the NKBA Global Connect program.
With more than 25 years of experience in business development and strategic planning, Rose played a critical role in the exponential expansion of Ferguson Enterprises. A part of Ferguson’s business strategy and marketing leadership teams since 1999, he helped to shape and grow the company from a 125-store, locally owned collection of shops, to 270+ unified and state-of-the-art showrooms serving all 50 U.S. states. Along the way, the company evolved from a builder-driven transactional organization to a holistic brand experience, connecting designers, architects, builders, remodelers and consumers with Ferguson showroom teams, prepared to consult, educate and deliver a premier customer experience.
SR19 Consulting, based in Newport News, VA, specializes in the design, remodeling and construction sector and provides an array of business and management consulting services, strategic solutions and dynamic meeting facilitation. Rose’s expertise includes making connections among manufacturers and manufacturer’s representatives, fostering synergistic partnerships and driving mutual growth.
The NKBA Global Connect initiative is designed to help international brands understand business practices in the North American kitchen and bath sector, reducing risk and preparing international brands for successful entry into the market. NKBA Global Connect Advisors are key to this preparation, in sharing insights, experiences and connections as part of the process. Membership in the Global Connect program offers access to a wide range of strategic business advisors who are able to consult on topics including distribution strategies, regulations and compliance, finance and insurance, product design and development, among others. The program aims to inspire, inform, strengthen and empower the K&B industry around the world.
“We are thrilled to have Sam Rose join us as a Global Connect Advisor,” said Bill Darcy, NKBA Global President and CEO. “Sam’s depth of knowledge of this market and savvy business acumen will be an asset to our international members who want to test the waters or expand their business in the North American market. We’re confident his insights will help lead them to success. We are pleased that Global Connect has become a leading platform where kitchen and bath companies from all over the world may connect.”
