South American brand enters the North American Market, delivering high-end product designs to the contemporary kitchen space
The National Kitchen & Bath Association (NKBA), representing nearly 50,000 North American kitchen and bath industry professionals and the owners of the Kitchen and Bath Industry Show (KBIS), announces its newest NKBA Global Connect Program Member LA AGENCIA.
Located in Montevideo, Uruguay, LA AGENCIA is an award-winning, international product design firm. Founded in 2010, the company collaborates with furniture and cabinetry manufacturers to create new product lines and collections that leverage the manufacturers’ capabilities and preferred raw materials. In 2015, LA Agencia entered the international market, working with furniture manufacturers in Italy, Spain, Brazil and Argentina providing design consultancy, product design and design management services. Partnering with a number of European brands, the firm gained international recognition, transforming the industry and garnering accolades including the Gold German Design Award in 2020 and Good Design for 2018 and 2022.
LA AGENCIA seeks to provide the North American market with high-end furniture and cabinetry design solutions for the American contemporary kitchen. “The demand for a fresh look at how traditional kitchens can be interpreted, embracing contemporary style and function, is growing rapidly in North America, and we at LA AGENCIA believe we are the perfect partner to bring forward this new interpretation,” said Andrea Damico, Export Manager of LA AGENCIA. “Working alongside American brands, we will develop high-end and ultra-high-end designs and solutions for the “new American kitchen.”
